This view of Main street and Church Hill shows two of the Etwall Pubs and a Dentist's Surgery.  (I think that can be safely classified as a Community asset - especially if you are in pain…

The Blenheim House Hotel was Etwall's newest pub. (It is the white building to the top left of the picture).

The original  Blenheim Hotel next door was purchased by Marston's who then added a pub facility to provide a training and conference centre for the Brewery. As the Blenheim Inn it boasted the only true restaurant facility within Etwall's local area. When Marston's became part of Wolverhampton and Dudley this facility was no longer required. In mid 2002 It was relaunched as a Conference Centre, Hotel and Restaurant, aiming to serve the National and International Business Market as well as the local area.

The Hawk on the other hand is one of the two original village pubs. Recently found to have been built in 1829. Refurbished in 2001, with an excellent new kitchen, it provides excellent Pub Grub and has repeatedly won the regional "Best Cellar" award.  In 2005 the Hawk was accorded the Supreme Champion award for the best Cask Ale pub in the national chain.
