Started in 1999 the site has grown to incorporate major sections covering The Parish Council, St Helen's Church, the Etwall Egginton & Burnaston Express as well as extensive records on the annual Well Dressing. In 2007 the Etwall Neighbourhood Watch became an integral part of the site which now carries details on all current security warnings for Ertwall and its immediate neighbours.

Every group and organisation that is featured in the Express has information pages available on the Community web site, although not all are currently used, every effort is made to update the information on them from public notices and Express entries.

In 2005 the Parish council commissioned work on expanding the information available on-line and in 2006 decided to formally adopt the site for a period of two years. As a result of this partnership, it is hoped that more comprehensive and current information will be forthcoming and the web site can be developed and supported by the Community, for the Community, well into the future.
